“Dhensa is a very new resort on a hill overlooking with the beautiful Punakha Valley. The spacious rooms are well equipped with full amenities and a balcony. There is a very cosy outdoor area for drinks and hang around just outside the main office. Good selection of menu for dinner and breakfast. Service by friendly staff is generally very good. Too bad, we arrived late and have to checked out early next morning, but we really enjoyed our short stay here.”    – BorneoGeorge (October 2015)

“Beautifully located resort somewhere on top of serene & secluded mountains. Offers great views and a very quiet and peaceful stay. Amazing view of night sky for star gazers. Wonderful views from the room balcony and good food at the restaurant.”-TusharK(December 2015, traveled as a couple)

“Very nice hotel, beautiful mountain view, close to the Nunnery, breakfast is a la carte – a little slow in serving but plentiful, restaurant for dinner food good variety. Rooms are comfortable just make sure keep doors closed in the evening to avoid insects. Free wifi in room.”-Bonita B(October 2015, traveled with friends)

“New nature type hotel up in the mountains. Good food, Wi-Fi, fantastic spa, great view, warm rooms and all major destinations are near this place. One of the best hotels in the world of such type. Wish to return again.”-Alexander D (November 2015, traveled as a couple)

“The moment we reached punakha we knew that a 1 day stay that we planned wasn’t enough… punakha valley is the most beautiful part of bhutan (or I should say the most of beautiful of the places we visited)..our stay Dhensa was excellent… the expectations were high as it is not very pocket friendly..but no complaints.. the property is fantastic and the service was quick… the food sometimes was extraordinary and some times ordinary…..excellent views (from certain areas) ..great staff… our stay was overall comfortable..they are tad bit on the higher side when it comes to tariff but the overall experience makes up for everything else.”-Sunny K(October 2015, traveled with family)
