Walk to Nunnery

Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang is a magnificent temple/ nunnery that overlooks the Punakha and Wangdue Phodrang valleys. Dhensa is located on the same hill, so it is only a 15 minute walk to the temple.

It houses one of Bhutan’s largest bronze statues of Chenrigzig (Avalokiteshvara).
